There is also a myriad of Avengers related shirts available in the gift shops. Sorry adults, the Marvel’s Avengers Academy shirts only come in youth sizes. The interactive experience is controlled by the Youth Activities counselors with an iPad. If your child enjoys the space on the Magic, they will feel right at home on the Wonder as the design plans from the Magic were dusted off and updated for the remodel of the Disney Wonder. A newspaper clipping from the Daily Bugle announces the opening of the academy. The opening date lines up with the re-imagination of the Wonder, but the picture is from the Disney Magic’s Avengers Academy shot by Disney photographer Matt Stroshane.
What activities are available for kids in the Disney Oceaneer Club and Lab?
Vibe is a hip hangout for older kids where you can chill out, socialize, watch movies, listen to music, and play games. Teens must present a coded Key to the World card to access the club. According to Disney insider and journalist Scott Gustin, the new age ranges for the Oceaneer Club and Lab will change from ages 3 through 12 to ages 3 through 10. The official statement from Disney says that based on guest feedback and to enhance the youth activities experiences for their youngest and tween guests, Disney is updating the age range for the Oceaneer Club and Lab. The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab flank the atrium lobby on deck 5. The entrance to the Oceaneer Lab remains in the midship elevator lobby.

The ship’s design is inspired by Walt Disney’s love of exploration. Disney launched a ship’s log page to track the construction of the ship in July. The Youth Activities team can use the app to remind you of pick up times or to simply share that your child decides they want to leave the Club. They are quite sympathetic to helping smooth things over if you’re in the midst of a Palo dinner or other event so that you’re unable to pick up your child immediately upon request. The COVID protocols for Youth Activities start with registration.

Are Disney cruise kids clubs free? How much does Disney cruise daycare cost?
Even if you don’t use the Small World Nursery for many hours on your Disney Cruise, it can be great to get a break so you can take advantage of all that a Disney Cruise has for Adults. It is the only childcare center on the Disney ships which is not provided free of charge, and you have to book ahead. Daytime and evening use of Disney Cruise Line's Oceaneer Club and Lab is always included in the cost of your cruise. When you choose to apply (and are approved) for a new credit card through our site, we may receive compensation from our partners, and this may impact how or where these products appear.

What activities are available for tweens and teens in Edge and Vibe on a Disney cruise?
The entrance to the Oceaneer Lab features a letter from Captain Mary Oceaneer stuck to the wall by a dagger welcoming guests with highlight of all the artifacts, treasure and technology from around the world to enjoy. The starboard side features tables and stools for group led youth actives such as Anyone Can Cook and a kid favorite Stitch’s Space Goo. The check-in area opens into a wide open space for group actives such as GAGA Ball and Pluto’s Pajama Party. The space features a large HDTV (not pictured – see video) on the back wall.
Activities
Parents must sign their children in and out of the Disney kids club until they're 8 years old. Parents can choose to give older kids permission to sign themselves in and out. Tweens and teens can come and go from Edge and Vibe as they please. Special activities in each of the clubs will be listed in the daily schedule on the Disney cruise Navigator app. Kids can also choose to participate in the always-available activities at the clubs instead.
Fulfilling the needs of children and families during their precious vacations is one of the things that Disney does best, and Disney Cruise Line is no exception. There is also a large room that all these different rooms connect through (similar to the Lab). This room is used for activities for a large number of children. While the room is well themed, I couldn’t quite figure out what the room is used for. Most likely coloring or movies, based upon the layout of the room. Part of this area includes ship simulators where you can pilot the Disney Wonder!
To access the Vibe on the Disney Fantasy and the Dream, teenagers have to have their own key card which is specially coded. This can help your child get used to the new environment and the counselors. If you think that your child may be anxious or not settle well in the Nursery, it can also be a good idea to go to the open house which is held every day.
As onboard, food wasn't provided, but due to the sun, they did stop for frequent water breaks to ensure the kids stayed hydrated. On our second day at Castaway Cay, nearby lightning led to the activities moving to a sheltered area. The Disney Cruise Line Youth Activities (specifically the Oceaneer Lab and Oceaneer Club) are our son’s favorite aspects of cruising. We typically don’t see him much of the cruise as he thoroughly enjoys the games and activities with that team and so many kids. He’s an extrovert like his dad and thrives in large group environments, so he was quite apprehensive about how COVID protocols would impact his cruise experience. Overall, the youth spaces are one of the highlights aboard the re-imagined Disney Magic.
The Cast Members at the Kids Club are very aware that this can happen. You can also spend some time with her at the Open Houses that they have so that she feels more comfortable. The environment is well designed, the Counsellors are wonderful and the mix between scheduled activities and free choice of things to do is just right.
Where do all the kids (and, let's admit, some grownups) want to play all day on a Disney cruise? With Star Wars- and Marvel-themed play areas, an Andy's Room replica from Toy Story and lots of interactive and Disney-branded activities, these kids' clubs are some of the best in the business. All ships have pools, splash areas and waterslides or rides, as well as movies both on the pool deck and in a dedicated theater. Activities for the whole family take place in the D Lounge and might include games shows, trivia, crafts and karaoke.
Families will pay $9 per child, per hour ($8 for each additional child in the same family). At Vibe on the Disney Wish, teens ages 14 to 17 can meet new friends, watch movies, play games and participate in entertaining activities created just for them. Inspired by a Parisian artists’ loft, this stylish space features classic architectural elements with an electric retro twist, with vibrant neon signs and funky pop art.
As I mentioned, the entrance is now located on the deck 5 hallway between the atrium and the the Buena Vista Theatre. The magical library theme of the club features a series of compartmentalized areas based on each story. The Oceaneer Lab renovations were based on a nautical theme full of high-tech gear to bring out the explorer in each child.
Children may choose to participate in organized programs in the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab or they can enjoy a variety of activities that are available throughout the day in other areas of the ship. For more relaxing entertainment, watch a first-run Disney movie in one of the theatres, play a board game, or learn how to draw a Disney character. The Oceaneer Club and the Oceaneer Lab offer age-specific programs with lots of fun, interesting hands-on activities to keep the younger set entertained. Some parents say that they hardly see their kids at all during their cruise. Disney Cruise Line ships schedule open houses in the different kids and teens clubs each day. During this time, anyone — adult or kid — can come and try out the kids club features.
